Linda:  Well, I was sitting in a congregation and you had given I think it was a service in which you were talking about the finished work of Jesus the Messiah that when He died on the cross He took our sins and our sicknesses, it wasn’t just one He took all the curse.  And then you said, “Now I have a Word that someone with neck pain is being healed.”  And I had been a car accident several years earlier.

Sid:  And by the way, can our sponsor interrupt you right now?  Our sponsor is God, GOD and He just had a word of knowledge that someone’s back was just healed as you were speaking.”  So please continue.

Linda:  Well, that’s more or less the way you said it to the congregation you said, “Someone’s neck has just been healed.”  And I wasn’t expecting that this would happen to me I noticed “Oh my gosh, my neck doesn’t hurt anymore.”  So I stood up and you prayed for me and that was the end of that neck pain.

Sid:  I think it is so wonderful when God operates through words of knowledge, but do you know what He’s been telling me lately?  That the words of knowledge as wonderful as them are, I mean when I hear a word of knowledge I believe that word more than I believe what people say.  I know that God has healed someone whether someone acknowledges it or not and they usually acknowledge it, but He’s saying that anyone at this point can lay hands on the sick that’s a believer and just say the name of Jesus and they are going to be healed.  There is going to be such a move of God’s healing on planet earth and I believe that at this point in history we’ve released the book, “Supernatural Healing.”  Now you wrote me a letter, I’m sure you remember it many years ago and you said, “Sid, I follow your ministry and I love it and if I can ever help you in writing things, I’d be glad to.”  And I filed that letter away and I didn’t respond to it for awhile and then one day I got the idea what if Linda was to take the interviews that I had of healing and write them up in a book.  But I have to tell you Linda, you went further than my idea and you made the book so easy for people.  Not just with your writing ability but with nuggets at the end of each chapter what these people did so by reading all of these testimonies one or more is going to trigger someone to get their healing.  Of all the testimonies that you did in the book, what was your favorite?

Linda:  Well, I would say that the testimonies fall; really I know that it’s probably not always wise to categorize things, but in this case I think there’s two kinds of healing.  I think there’s the healing that God gives to somebody whether their looking for it or not and the second is the kind of healing that people can claim and lay hold of because of the finished work of the Messiah.  Now my favorite one of the people that are given a gift of healing would be I’d have to say, Jan Aldridge or Delores Winder because both of those ladies, especially Jan had a very severe deformity and I believe you’re going to interview her later this week.

Sid:  Right, on Wednesday we are going to have Jan on.

Linda:  She was born with a hideous deformity of her tongue and she’ll tell you and details of her story, but she wasn’t expecting to be healed.  And the pastor had a word of knowledge for her when she was just sitting church and came over and told her that God was going to heal her.  And a short time later, she was completely healed of that physical deformity.  And that’s an example of somebody who is healed when they’re not particularly seeking it.  But on the other hand there are people who know that God’s promise for healing is real, it’s real today, it was real when Jesus was present.  That it’s part of His finished work that when He died on the cross He took our sins and our sicknesses.  And I would encourage everyone to go into the scriptures for themselves and become fully satisfied that from God’s viewpoint there’s very little difference between sin and sickness, they’re both works of the devil.  And when Jesus paid the price for one, He paid the price for the other.  And a great person who experienced this or a great example of this is Dr. Gary Hill.  Now Dr. Hill.

Sid:  Now, by the way let me interject one of the things I love about the particular testimonies we selected three are doctors.

Linda:  Three are doctors.

Sid:  But so let’s talk about Dr. Gary Hill.

Linda:  Well, just as Jan Aldridge illustrates an example of God healing someone who wasn’t expecting it, Gary Hill illustrates someone who called on God because of the covenant that we have through the Messiah.  Gary was an Emergency Room Physician in Canada in Edmonton, Alberta.  His wife was pregnant with their fourth child and by the eighth month the baby was very small and not moving.  So they went for an ultrasound and the results of the ultrasound and some other tests that were run showed that the baby’s brain was very damaged, half of it was missing.  The doctors told them that the baby would probably be born dead, but if it were born alive, it would be terrifically handicapped, it would never walk, it would never talk, it would never see and they offered Gary the option of an abortion.  And he said at that moment the Spirit just rose up in him and he said, “Doctor I’m a Christian, I would never consider an abortion.”  So he went home and just fell on his face and cried out to God and he said, “Father this is my hour of need, you’ve promised to be our ever present help in time of need, this is my hour of need.”  And he began to search the scriptures for healing and he became convinced that healing was a real thing, that he could lay hold of.  So he quit his job in the Emergency Room and his wife got her parents to come and take care of their other children.

Sid:  So he had a new full time job, understanding healing so that his baby would be normal.

Linda:  Exactly so, and he mediated on healing scriptures, he watched videos and listened to tapes about people who have been healed, he read books on healing, but it was his full time job.  And at the end of everyday he always took time out to worship.  He always at the end of day would put on praise music and just worship God.  Because he said, “You know it was so hard to stand this ground because there was nobody that he knew that believed as he believed.”

Sid:  You know I find a lot of people going back to the worship, they’ll go into a hospital room and just play worship music twenty-four seven.  There is something about getting the atmosphere of heaven and the word of God just putting them together.

Linda:  That’s exactly what happened to Gary, he was worshipping and this cloud came into the room and it was heavy and it pressed him down to the floor and he became very frightened.  And he tried to crawl out of the room and then he said to himself, “You idiot, this is what you’ve been praying for.”  And while he was laying there he had a vision of someone being healed of a head trauma, so he knew that it was the sign to go pray for his baby at that moment.  And his wife had been woken up out of sleep to come meet him and they met in the hallway and he put his hand on the baby and prayed and nothing happened.  And you know Gary is not a guy to give up easily as you can imagine someone who’s quoted Bible verses over their unborn child twelve hours a day for a month.  And he prayed again and still nothing happened.  And he said, “I know that I’m suppose to do this,” so he laid his hand on the baby’s head and then he put his hands on his wife’s head and power came out of his hands and knocked both of them unconscious.  And the wife came to with such a feeling of love of God’s love.  She said, “I’ve never felt so peaceful and so much love and she was just murmuring, Father, I accept this, I know that you’ll be with me and whatever you ordain for this baby I accept.”  And Gary came to saying to himself “Lord I’m not worthy, you are so holy, I am so unworthy.”  And they just hugged each other there and then they noticed that the baby was moving.  And to make a long story short, they delivered a normal child and today that baby, she is a teenager, she’s a healthy child, she get’s A’s in school, she plays soccer and she’s a blessing to everyone who knows her.

Sid:  You know Linda our time is slipping away, but it’s there are other types of healing; for instance the healing brought out in communion by Dr. John Miller.  So I want to prepare people to have the elements for communion ready on Friday and I believe many of you will get your healing.  And I’ll give you one of the nuggets of Dr. John Miller, he’s the first one that showed me that communion is a progressive healing just like you take medicine and then you progressively get better, every time you take communion you are a little bit better.  Well our time is slipping away.

Sid: We want everyone everywhere to be so blessed by God that there only question is “God, there is so much money coming in where do you want me to invest it in Your Kingdom?”  That’s my big problem, that’s the way that it’s suppose to be Joan Hunter, that’s what is going on in your life and your family’s life and third world countries and to those that understand and catch God’s heart for giving.  Now you were telling me on yesterday’s broadcast the car story, but it’s more than a car story, and you’ll elaborate because it’s not just one member of your family, but how many members of your family have gotten cars supernaturally over the last couple of years?

Joan: Seven out of seven, I have four daughters and three of the most incredible sons-in-laws, all seven have gotten new vehicles in the last two two and a half years.

Sid: Okay, tell me the story, recap the story and then tell me the conclusion, we had to stop at such a critical moment.

Joan: So hopefully waiting in anticipation for the end of the story.

Sid: I’m on the edge of my seat!  Ha-ha.

Joan: She had saved $6,000 and I gave her a prophetic word that God was going to bless her naturally and supernaturally.  A friend of mine was selling one of her cars exactly what she had wanted.  Back seat had never been sat in, mint condition and so she, the lady offered it to her for $5,000 under wholesale.  So she thought this is great I can put $6,000 down and then I‘ve already saved $5,000 under wholesale so this was great and there’s where God blessed me.  You know and she had a note for $9,000, it’s a phenomenal car and she said $9,000.  So she got a loan for $9,000.  Fifty dollars a month, she said, I can handle $50 a month.  She paid the first payment; they sent back a letter saying paid in full.

Sid: How come?  How could that happen?

Joan: God!  God laid it on their heart to just wipe out the rest of the debt, and that’s what God’s doing.

Sid: Have you heard stories, I’ve been starting to hear stories about money appearing in peoples bank accounts that are givers?

Joan: That is so true, I mean, dozens’ of stories.  Your know $750, $300, $1200, you know all these different amounts are showing up and they are going there must be an error.  You know you go to the bank and you got there must be an error.  No it’s not an error, there is money in your account a deposit was made and it has your thing on there and it’s like okay, in the natural I don’t remember doing it.  But God is blessing us with finances.

Sid: Now, explain something to me, you enjoy writing checks to ministries and people in need, when you write a check, tell me what you do.  What do you pray, and you talk about you get specific.

Joan: I love giving, I’m sure anybody listening to these radio programs can definitely tell that.  I love to give, but you know what, people get tired of like $25 check or $100 check, you know and even amounts. I believe in praying and asking God number One more important, how much should I seed every month, how much should I give into this ministry?  How much should I give to Messianic Vision?  And I’m exciting to be a part of this ministry as a partner and to you know to be a blessing to this ministry.  But I pray and I ask God “How much I should partner with you?”  And God does that, which is so awesome.  There is another area which I talk about in the book, “Supernatural Provision.”  I talk about scriptural giving, many of you are confessing, “My God’s going to supply all of needs according to His riches in Glory.”  You know Deuteronomy 8:18, “He’s given me the power to get wealth; He’s given me witty inventions.”  You know He’s blessing me and all these different things and we proclaim that and we speak them over our finances.  Well the word, also says you know and sayings is like well “Put your money where your mouth is.”  That’s a saying, and it’s like “Okay, put my money where my mouth is.”  What does that mean?  Okay, here we have “Philippians 4:19 “I want God to supply all of my needs, according to His riches in Glory.”  I’m going to give a check for $4.19 or $419 lining up the number with the number in the scripture.

Sid: Chapter 4 verse 19.

Joan: Right, Philippians 4:19, so you know $4:19, $419 or whatever it is.  And then you know, man I am just expecting supernatural financial blessing and I want to be Father everything that you want me to be, I just speak you know, “Deuteronomy 1:11 over me that I’m going to be a thousand times more numerous than I am.”  Okay, Deuteronomy 1:11, how about seeding $1.11, $11.11, $111 a month and I love giving $111.

Sid: But here’s what I see what’s going on with you Joan; I’m kind of a analytical kind of guy.  What you are doing is you are establishing a tremendous point of faith for your giving.

Joan: It is.

Sid: And you have faith to believe that when you take a scripture and then you give to a Godly ministry or someone with a big need that God is going to multiply that beyond your wildest imagination.  But I believe you’re faith is so contagious… that contagious giving Spirit is going to jump on them and the same thing that’s happening in third world countries the same thing that’s happening in your family, the same thing that’s happening to everyday average people that you talk about in your book and your CD’s is going to happen to them.

Joan: Absolutely, and I see it, I see it everywhere I go.  And you know as people give into the offering and I’ll say like, one lady gave this was last year, $111, literally a few months ago.  A hundred and eleven dollars and she was believing God to have supernatural finances so she in turn could go on more and more mission trips.  And to do more of what God has called her to do; and she was so excited about that.  This is Friday night, Friday, Friday, very important here, Friday.  Saturday she get s phone call saying we’ve decided to totally wipe out your mortgage on your house of about like $250,000.

Sid: How could they do that?

Joan: They just did it, just like that and it was like, man what can you do that you won’t have a house payment.  How awesome is that?

Sid: What your stories are so outrageous and so many because you’ve been practicing this so many years.

Joan: Yes.

Sid: Now, what I love is your stories about giving $91 or multiplies of $91 from Psalm 91 which is one of my favorite Psalms.  Tell me a testimony involving someone giving $91.

Joan: You make it so hard, to only give one testimony; I have so many of them.

Sid: I know.

Joan: But like went, I’ll give you kind of one but it’s like three.  Went to Haiti this year, went to New Waver where they cut woman’s heads off, hallelujah and ministered in open air meeting and all that.  And believe me I sent, I seeded $91 before all three trips and came back from Haiti and never got sick, and I mean supernaturally our home team did not get sick, because they all seeded $91.  And then went to New Waver Laredo and there wasn’t even I mean even nothing, zero complications, zero problems and were in New Waver, Laredo absolutely perfect, calm no uprising, no arguing, nothing it was absolutely phenomenal.

Sid: Tell me about that friend of yours who seeded $91 for her son-in-law that was in the military?

Joan: That was awesome, a jet plane, he was responsible for fueling the jet planes in Getare or Kurdistan, something like that and it actually didn’t explode like it can fire but it exploded with the gasoline doused him top to his head, soles of his feet, lost his vision, and they actually put him in a shower, scrub him with iron bristle top of his head and soles of his feet and then they put him a medicinal coma and made him sweat so that the poisons would get out of his system.  And I got news of that and I knew that she had seeded $91 for him.  I said, “Father there is something wrong with this picture here, you know we don’t want him to be going over there and lose his eye sight to lose his family to lose his life, to lose his future in Jesus Name,” and I said “According to your word you are going to protect him.”  And in the Name of Jesus. “We speak that his vision is going to be restored.”  Ring…telephone, “He got his vision back, he got his vision back, supernaturally.” And you know that it was absolutely zero affect on his body zero, they said, “That that can’t be,” because the poisons in the natural to the body and play havoc on him the rest of his life.  And that was actually probably six to eight years ago and he is in perfect health today.

Sid: Are you beginning to get the picture that God has not overlooked you?  That God has a plan for good for your life?  That God wants you to operate in these biblical principles to be involved in the end time harvest.  And Joan Hunter has been uniquely raised up by God, she know what it’s like to have nothing, to not understand the principals of God.  And knows what it’s like to understand the principals of God and she doesn’t give money out of greed, she gives money because her heart is so excited when she can give to establish God’s Kingdom.  Isn’t that the position that you want to be in by the time you read these testimonies and you understand the principles?

Sid: All this week I’ve been talking to Jewish people that are Red Hot for Jesus because this is God’s moment.  There is a short window in the United States of America in which God is going to reveal Messiah to Jewish people to form the One New Man to have the greatest revival the world has ever seen.  Speaking of the greatest revival the world has ever seen, I have on the telephone, Alyosha Ryabinov and Alyosha has been a concert pianist and lately he has moved into a new type of music, a new song and we had him featured at our One New Man Celebration.  And Alyosha, “What is the difference between the music you play today and the music you played as a concert pianist?”

Michael: Well, as a concert pianist I played music that was written by other composers and even music that I wrote, but today I also very much just like to plug into the heavenly realm and there is a lot of music out there.  And just receive it directly and awesome things happen when I play.

Sid: Tell me one awesome thing that happened when you played.

Michael: Well, a lot of healings happen for example when there was a man that received the eyesight a few years ago just by listening to the music.

Sid: Well, speaking about receiving eyesight, Alyosha is one of the testimonies in the new release of my book “They Thought for Themselves.”  This is a book that God gave me a dream in which came to me and He said, “More Jewish people would come to know Him through this book,” and of course I hadn’t written a book at that time, “Then anything I had ever done.”  And history proves that this dream was from God because of over 850,000 of these books are in print distributed mostly to Jewish people, predominately in the former Soviet Union.  So one of the testimonies in the book is Alyosha Ryabinov and he was born in Kiev in the former Soviet Union and Alyosha you were raised as an atheist, tell me a little bit about that.

Alyosha: Yes.

Sid: But your parents were Jewish.

Alyosha: Yes, but I was born in a Jewish family and of course in Ukraine, at that time the religion was prohibited for most people, so almost everybody was atheist.  Most Jews were atheist and even when I was in school and in college I even have to take a course on atheism which was required.  So I was Jewish ethnically, but spiritually really was nothing, atheist.

Sid: And for the sake of your, because you were Jewish and there was great discrimination against Jews in the former Soviet Union, you wanted to leave and come to the United States, but it wasn’t so easy back then, was it.

Alyosha: No, it was very difficult, a lot of people were actually in prison or there were various forms of persecution like losing your job or being expelled from universities.  So when I wanted to leave and I applied I had a great amount of fear and this is when I began to think about God, even though I was an atheist.  And one interesting thing about atheism when people ask me, “When did you hear about God in the first place?”  I would say, “Well the first people that told me about God were atheist,” because, well they have to explain to you who doesn’t exist.  And so a…

Sid: So your original source was atheism, so you decide because you are desperate and I guess that’s the reason that you are going to pray to God, but how does someone that isn’t even sure that there is a God pray to God?

Alyosha: Well, I didn’t really know how to pray, but I just knew nobody could help me in my situation.  I just needed to go and see for myself, if there is God I’ll just talk to Him.  So I actually ended up walking in Kiev I went to a church and I’d never been in a church before and this was a Greek Orthodox Church and I was Jewish, I knew I thought I was in the wrong place but…

Sid: But why didn’t you just go to a synagogue?

Alyosha: Because it was very dangerous for a Jewish person to appear there.

Sid: At that time.

Alyosha: At that time, yeah and it was a lot easier for me to just walk into a church.  And I didn’t care about anything; I just wanted to find God.  So I walked into this church and there was an image of Yeshua, now I just knew a little bit about Him, that He was called the God Christians.  And I talked to Him and I said, “Jesus, I don’t know if you’re God or not, I don’t know anything about God, but if you are and if you are real, here’s a good chance for you to prove that, make it possible for us to leave this country.”  And I prayed on behalf of our family and after that I left the church.  And maybe a week past or two something like that, it was not too long, and we were called to the Immigration Office and we were given permission to immigrate, just like that.

Sid: Now did you think that was a coincidence or did you think that God really answered your prayer at that time?

Alyosha: I really battled between thinking that it was coincidence or maybe there is God, I just needed some more happenings.

Sid: Well, you asked God for a sign and what happened?

Alyosha: That happened quite a bit later after we immigrated already and we came to Chicago and settled and you know some people began to share with me about the Lord.  Actually wanted to know what it meant to be a Jew.  And somebody says you know, I know a very good book on the Jewish history, it’s called the Bible, read this.  And I began to read the Bible it was learning about God and the God of Israel and I just wanted to know, as a matter of fact the Bible has the New Testament and you know and when I began to read about Yeshua, He happened to be Jewish.  I just said, “Wow, He doesn’t appear to me as Christian I thought, he is really Jewish and He loves the Jewish people.  So I just one morning I woke up and I started to talk to God, and I said, “God if you are really exist and if Jesus is really Jewish and the Jewish Messiah and my Savior, give me some sign.”  I didn’t know that in the Bible that a Jew will ask for a sign.  So suddenly, and it was dark in the room and very dark, it was before the sun came up, early in the morning; suddenly a bright light filled the room and it stood there for some time and then it left.  And I definitely believe that it was for a sign and I looked outside and there was no sun yet, so a definite sign, a light came into the room.

Sid: But that still wasn’t enough and then your sister becomes a believer has a Bible study in your home, you’re at that Bible study one day and you really weren’t even thinking about becoming a believer but what happened?

Alyosha: I wasn’t ready to become a believer although I had been thinking a lot about what I was learning and my experiences and the Leader of the Bible Study who was a Jewish believer, He was teaching and then suddenly just out of the blue he turned to me and he asked me, “Would you like to accept Jesus as your Messiah, as your Savior?”  And I was stunned, and I felt I wasn’t ready, I thought I wasn’t ready so I opened my mouth to say, “No” and to my own surprise came out, “Yes.”  So he lead me in prayer and that was the day where I,…

Sid: And to make a long story short, Alyosha is married to a Jewish believer, and he is a believer now and when he plays music like at our One New Man Celebration, you can get the DVDs or the CDs from our ministry.  Let’s hear Alyosha play with “the Spirit of God.”

Alyosha Worship Excerpt.

Bill: Because I went through looking for power that’s been left out. In fact years ago when I was studying Greek, twenty five years ago or more I would tell people, “This is what it really says.”  And they would say, “Well you need to do a translation.”  I said, “No, no that’s intimating now to to deal with scripture that way.”  But over the years I got so upset with reading watered down translation; the power is there in the Greek.

Sid: Alright, when you say the power what do you mean by that, explain.

Bill: In the New Testament particularly the imperative move there means you must do this and then the tense of the verb tells you must do it continually, or you must do it now depending on which tense it is.  So I put that in, and I’ve had a couple of pastors that study Greek tell me they used to have to go through their Bible before they were preparing a message for the coming Sunday; that they wanted to know is it an imperative in the first place, and is it present tense or aros tense.  But any way it just got to me when God finally told me to get serious with it, then I knew I had to, and got into it.

Sid: Okay, on yesterday’s broadcast we were talking about Phoebe in Roman’s 16, tell me about her.

Bill: Well, she’s very interesting, she was actually technically a woman set over others, and Paul said…

Sid: Are you telling me that Phoebe was set over men?

Bill: Yes.

Sid: You better not tell that in your Baptist church around the corner.

Bill: Right, right and here…

Sid: Well, how do you know that?

Bill: Because of the Greek word that is used there describing her.

Sid: Explain that.

Bill: It means a woman set over others.

Sid: Boy, this would sure change a lot of people’s theology if they only understood about Phoebe.  Let’s talk about healing, because that was a thing that originally attracted me to your translation.  I have never seen before that one of the definitions of the Greek word for sickness is evil.

Bill: Right.

Sid: Now I believe that sickness is evil but I didn’t know that that was the translation.  Tell me, explain that exactly.

Bill: The Greek word that I translate evil, is “kakos” which is actually the adverbial form, it’s strange, of a word with one letter difference, an omicron, instead of an omega, the adverbial form is listed in the best Classic and Koina Greek Lexicon under, you know as the same word. And it gives the same noun form.

Sid: Okay, if it is evil why do we translate it sickness?

Bill: Well, you’ll have to go back a few hundred years and ask those that did it.  After them it’s tradition.

Sid: Alright, what a difference that makes to me it really gets, it calls sickness what it really is, evil.  I mean if it’s sickness, well get over it.  But if it’s evil get rid of it.

Bill: That’s right.

Sid: I mean it’s a big difference. Tell me about the woman that touched the hem of Jesus garment.

Bill: Yes, that’s awesome. She came up behind Him, and see His prayer shawl then was a huge garment.  It was like a poncho and it went from wrist to wrist and down to His knees, and had the fringes on the corners.  The fringes called a “tseet-tseet”, and she knew that the “tseet-tseet” represented all the commandments and promises of God, and when that was worn on an anointed man of God she just had to touch that and she would be healed.  And she did and was healed; came up behind Him and Jesus could feel the power leaving Him.  And in Luke, Luke is the one that records it, that as she confessed to Jesus that she was the one that touched His garment as she confessed she was healed.  Which gives us a very very important rule to have in healing is to confess it.  Confess that we’re healed, whether she felt it or not she confessed it and as she confessed she was healed.

Sid: Okay, as she reached to of course it’s the “tseet-tseet,” the fringes wasn’t the hem of His garment, but as she reached to it what did that mean to her?

Bill: It means that she was touching all that God had, that fringe represented all the commandments of God and all the promises.

Sid: That sure sounds a lot more meaningful to me than the hem of His garment.

Bill: Yeah, there not quite the same are they?

Sid: Okay, now when you translate Isaiah 53 you came up with a revelation I’ve never heard anyone come up with before on the word stripes; explain that.

Bill: Right, that’s very interesting, the word there is “havurato” and what it means is literally on His wounds, His stripes; either one is correct, but in Modern Hebrew “havurah” means fellowship.  And so there is an Orthodox Jewish Bible in use in Orthodox Synagogues today that translate that not as wounds or stripes but translates it as fellowship.

Sid: Now let me understand this, in other words it could  be translated wounds or stripes and it could equally as it’s done in this approved Hebrew scriptures be translated fellowship.  But I think you need both, you need to know what the blood of Jesus by His stripes brought us and you also need to have fellowship with the Lord.

Bill: Right.

Sid: But that is such a wonderful revelation.  Okay, now tell me about I Am that I Am.

Bill: Oh yes, wow, the I Am is significant, two common words for I Am are “ani” which simply means I Am and “anohi”, which is I am with an attitude, it’s determination.  And the anokhi is used over a hundred times with God speaking.

Sid: Give me an example and say it with that attitude.

Bill: Right, Isaiah 43:11 God says “I Am, I Am the only Savior!”, and in 43:25 “I Am, I Am the one who forgives all your transgression!”

Sid: Wait a second; you said that twice, it doesn’t say it twice in the scriptures.

Bill: Yes it does.

Sid: No, in my King James Bible it doesn’t.

Bill: Well it does “anokhi anokhi” is there.

Sid: No, in the translation it doesn’t say that in the Hebrew; does it say it in your King James, so why would it say I Am, I Am with an attitude.

Bill: Yeah.

Sid: Why not?

Bill: I sure agree with you, why not?  I put it in twice.

Sid: Why should someone get a hold of the One New Man Bible?

Bill: I put the “anokhi” and that’s I Am I put that in bold so that there’s no missing it; so that you know that it’s not just I Am doing this.   But when it’s the I am with an attitude; when there’s determination.  I have determined that this is what I am going to do! And see in Isaiah 43:25 what He says, “I erase all your sins.”  Erase that means it never happened; Satan might remember it, might have another record but his record doesn’t count.  The official record that sets in never happened isn’t that awesome.

Sid: This is the Shabbat broadcast and Bill Morford I am going to let you do something I’ve never asked a guest to do, but you have corrected the translation of the Aaronic Benediction, would you pray that in English with the way it really is in the Hebrew?

Bill: Oh yes, “The Lord will bless you and He will keep you, the Lord will make His face to shine upon you and He will be gracious to you.  The Lord will lift His countenance to you and He will establish you in Shalom.”

Craig: That is a fact Sid, I think that is one of the most painful experiences that people can have when you are in a situation where you’re are being wounded and hurt over and over and over again my your husband, by your wife and you love the Lord.  And many times as it was with the case of Jan and me we both loved the Lord and yet could not seem to stop from hurting each other, we just didn’t understand and didn’t know what we were doing to hurt each other.

Sid: Now, you tell a story in your book which illustrates some of the levels of communication that most Christians don’t have a clue about, they are clueless, tell me the story about the state fair.

Craig: Yeah, that true Sid, what we found is that there is a lower level of communication that most people are not aware of, and I call it a relational level of communication.  Most people understand the topical level.  Where were talking about where we’re going to live, what cars are we going to drive, how we are going to discipline our children, whose going to pay bills, whose going to cook food.  All those kinds of things that people need to discuss in a marriage.  But underneath every one of those topics if a relational communication and that is messages that we send to one another in the realms of identity in regard to value.  But to make it real simple, every one of us needs to feel valuable.  The deepest desire I have with my wife is I want to feel valuable in her sight.  I know the deepest desire that has is to feel valuable in her husband’s sight.  The problem is that we don’t know how to convey value and I’ve discovered that husbands and wives that perceive value entirely differently.  And Apostle Paul gives us some key to that in Ephesians Chapter 5 at the very end of the chapter when he commands husbands to love their wives and commands wives to respect their husbands.  And I wondered what does that mean?  So I began to ask a lot of husbands and a lot of wives and I sort of boiled it down to this, that to love your wife, what most men don’t realize is that it means to make her feel high priority, to care about her feelings and to take responsibility when you hurt her.  And for husbands what respect means to them is to feel accepted, to be made to feel pleasing in the sight of my wife and that she appreciates me and appreciates my efforts and admires me.  Well there was a couple that I know that some friends of mine had four children and the wife asked her husband, “Listen, I’m going to go on a retreat, I would like to go on a retreat with some of my girlfriends from the church for a weekend, would you be able to watch our children that weekend?  The husband wanting to please his wife and loving his children, checked his schedule and said, “Absolutely, I’m free that weekend, I would be happy to watch the children.”  So the weekend came, the wife went on the retreat, the husband was watching the children and the older son said on Saturday, “Hey Dad, the State Fair has come to town this week and I wonder if we could go to the State Fair perhaps after Church tomorrow?”  And the Dad really didn’t want to do that, his favorite football team was playing a game that afternoon and he had in his mind that he was going to sit home and watch the game.  But he decided to die to himself, be a good father, maybe tape the game and take his kids to the State Fair, which he did.  So the next afternoon they were at the State Fair and the cell phone rings and it was his wife, she said, “How are you? I’m great. How are the kids? Fine.  How’s the retreat? Oh, it’s wonderful.  She said, “Where are you, sounds sort of noisy, where you are, are you at a part or somewhere?”  He said, “Oh, I took the kids to the State Fair.”  And there was silence about three seconds and then she said, “The State Fair, why did you take the kids to the State Fair?”  And he knew by the tone of her voice he was in trouble.  Now I’ve got some counsel for husbands, when ever your wife asks you a rhetorical question starting with why in an angry tone, never answer that question.

Sid: Did you say, never answer that question?

Craig: Never answer that question.

Sid: Well, what do you do?

Craig: The reason is that there’s no correct answer.  Just think about it.

Sid: It’s called no win.

Craig: That’s right. She said, why did you take the kids to State’s Fair?  So he’s grasping for answers because if he answers it there’s no right answer, no matter what he says, she’s going to be hurt and angry, so why do you do?  What I’ve learned to do is ask another question.  Because when she said, “Why did you take the kids to the kids to the State Fair?  She actually did not want to know why, in other words well, because they asked, the weather was nice, we had the time, those were the kind of answers that he was thinking of.  But that wasn’t her question.  Her question was this, every year we go to the State Fair as a family and now for some reason I’m out of town one weekend you decide to do what we always do every year as a family event without me?  And she was feeling alone, abandoned, unloved, not care for so her question was do you realize and understand that by taking the kids to the State Fair which we do every year as a family event without me you made me feel alone, abandoned, not loved, not cared for.  And her question was do you realize that?  And he didn’t know that, and when she said, “Why did you take the kids to the State Fair” that was a topical question.  He didn’t understand the relational issue which was; she was feeling, worthless, unloved, not cared about and what I suggest husbands do in that case instead of trying to answer the question.  Well, I took the kids to the State Fair, because the weather was nice, they asked, they had time, instead ask her a question about her feelings.  And the questions would be this, “Honey, by the tone of your voice, I sense that I made you feel hurt and wounded, is that true?”  She would say, “Absolutely.”  Then he could say, could you please share with me how I made you feel.  Then when she would do that, he would then be able to answer her real question is, “Do you care about my feeling, do you care that I feel abandoned, alone, cut out of the family, not loved?”  And that’s her real question, he didn’t know to do that so he just said, well, we went to fair because we had the time, and the kids asked.”  She said, “Why did you go without me?”  Well, honey you are out of town, you’re at a retreat.”  And she said, “Didn’t dawn on you that I might like to go with the family to a family event that we do every year?”  He said, “Well, no actually it didn’t dawn on me.”  She said, “I see, so I’m out of town for two days and I’m completely out of mind, out of sight, you don’t even think about me at all, you don’t love me, you don’t care about me.”  She began crying at that point, well he began to get angry at that point because he was thinking, “You know, I thought she would be calling to give me the Father of the  Year award because here I am denying myself, I would have preferred to stay home and watch the football game and instead, I tried to be a good father and take my children to the State Fair because they asked and what do I get from my wife, the same thing I always get, criticism, judgment, she’s telling me what a poor excuse for a husband I am, I don’t love her, I don’t care about her, I can’t win.  And now this blew up into a big argument that actually lasted for two weeks.  And again, as we were talking earlier in the week, who wanted this?  Did the husband intend to hurt his wife?  Did the wife intend to hurt and accuse and judge her husband?  And the answer was no, the enemy set them up for this situation and neither of them realized it.  And again if he doesn’t understand what the problem is on the relational level, he will try to repent on a topical level which never works.

Sid: But men are wired that way, I mean it’s almost like were sabotaged from birth.

Craig: That really is true Sid, and I think it is like speaking two different languages.  Early in my marriage God said to me, “Do you love you wife?”  I said, “Yes Lord, of course, I love my wife.”  He said this to me, “How come you’ve never learned to speak her language?”  I said, “What do you mean?”  He said, “That it’s like you were a missionary and you went to live there ten years and never learned Spanish, but yet you said you loved the Mexican people, what kind of love would that be? You expect them to just learn your language and you refuse to learn their language?”  I said Lord, “What do you mean?”  He said, “Your wife speaks an entirely different language on relational level and you have never spent the time to learn her language so that you can communicate with her, you tell her you love her in your man language, but you don’t tell her in a way that connects with her heart, that she actually feels loved; and you could if you would learn these principals.”  And I said, “Lord, forgive me; I say I love my wife and I’ve never taken time to learn her language.”  You know I think that there are many woman that are listening right now in that exact same situation they have never spent the time to learn how to communicate to their husbands what it means to be valued, how to communicate respect to him, how to make him feel accepted, valued, admired, appreciated and many families get in a cycle that to around and around and around.  I would like to take a moment and pray for several that I just sense the Holy Spirit is speaking to you right now.  What’s happened is because your husband has wounded you you have criticized him and sent him a message that he is of no value.  That he’s not a good husband, not a good father, not a good Christian, not a good covering for your family.  And that has wounded him and he’s withdrawn.  Father, I pray for every one of these wives that are listening right now, where that has happened and they have deeply wounded their husband, he has withdrawn and closed up.  And Father, I pray that you would supernaturally give each one of these wives a key open the heart of her husband that as she begins to take small steps to begin to convey him admiration and acceptance that his heart will open again to her and communication will begin to take place.  In the Mighty Name of Yeshua, Amen.

Sid: Amen, you know Craig, there are many best books from a secular view point like “Men are from Mar, Women are From Venice.”  The point the difference in how men are and women are but your book not only points the differences but shows how to use the supernatural to get rid of those differences.

Craig: I think that that’s exactly right and you know one of the keys I found Sid is people don’t realize that there are spiritual influences beyond just the two people in a marriage and never deal with those.

Sid: So it’s not just the different levels of communication, it’s the spiritual side that’s interfering with that natural side.

Craig: And it sets us up all the time and we don’t even realize it and if we never deal with that and we don’t access God’s supernatural power, then we are going to have difficulty in marriage because it’s not just learning my wife’s language, learning my husband’s language.  But it’s accessing God’s supernatural power to be able to allow that to flow through me in a way…

Sid: Okay, our time is up

SID: Hello, Sid Roth here with Surprise Sithole. And Surprise, just before the break…you felt what I felt?

SURPRISE: Yes.

SID: Was it an angel? What happened? Why did just the presence of God get so strong?

SURPRISE: Yes, because God is about to free some people in some things

SID: Would you pray for them now

SURPRISE: Yes. Yes, yes, yes.  I see there is a man with his wife and he has been having a tremendous time, not good time, not excitement time. But God wants just right now, as they are sitting on the cushions there right now watching this program, they really need freedom. And I feel there is a draining rainbow upon them right now, and there is a rainbow. And I feel that the cushion is brown and saw something like that. And God just wants to touch them right now and release the freedom

SID: Pray for them right now.

SURPRISE: Right now, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray for the major freedom to my dear or to that and his wife right now, releasing in freedom in Jesus’ name.

SID: You know, I believe God wants you to do some more. But I’m just hearing, I know this is little. I’m just hearing someone has a headache and the headache is gone. And it’s not little to you. It’s good to be free. Tell me about the person with no eyeballs that got their eyes.

SURPRISE: This is the lady that we prayed for at the conference. And we prayed for this lady. And then this lady, she had a disease. The disease normally is in Malawi, the disease that exists there, the eyeballs start shrinking, shrinking, shrinking. The water comes and then at the end the eyeball goes away. So we prayed for her. She didn’t have an eyeball on both eyes. After we prayed, she didn’t get. But what happened is that when she went to sleep that night, during the night in her dream, she dreamed that she see, and then she went outside and starting singing. Now other ladies, they woke up and when they went and said, “Who brought you outside?” She said, “No, I’m dreaming that I can see.” They said, “No, you’re not dreaming.” “I’m just having this nice dream.” The following day she had brand new eyeballs.

SID: Someone’s leg is being healed right now. It’s from the knee down to the foot. In that area, you’re being healed right now. And someone’s back is being healed right now. And someone’s hip is being healed right now. Tell me about, you know, he’s in Africa and he has seen every miracle in the Bible. How about feeding where food is multiplied? Tell me about that.

SURPRISE: Oh, that is what we had so much of that.

SID: So much of that. Did you get that? So much! I love his childlike faith.

SURPRISE: We had chicken multiplied, bread multiplied.

SID: How many people were fed from how much food? Tell me about that

SURPRISE: We had a bag, that was in the year 2000. That time was having a flood in southern Mozambique. So we got only one bag. We didn’t count how many bread, but it was one bag to go to the concentration camp where the people, well it is not the refugee camp it’s just where they were running from the flood. And it was thousands upon thousands, upon thousands. We started giving the people that bread.

SID: How much bread did you have?

SURPRISE: One bag.

SID: One bag. How big a bag?

SURPRISE: One bag, maybe a bag of this. But it was thousands upon thousands people.

SID: You saw thousands and thousands of people getting bread from one bag.

SURPRISE: Yes, from one bag and never finish.

SID: Was there food left over?

SURPRISE: Yes. Yes, we still had the bag.

SID: Did the people realize what was going on?

SURPRISE: Well the people, maybe they thought that we hide it somewhere. So we’re just going and getting more.

SID: And you see this type of thing often in Africa.

SURPRISE: Exactly, so many times.

SID: If you were to pray for the people that are watching right now or by way of video, could we live in joy 24/7?

SURPRISE: So much.

SID: Could we? Would you pray right now?

SURPRISE: Yes, I can do that right now. Yes. Thank you, Father, right now we come to you and pray for dear watching the listeners, and those that in the audience in the mighty name of Jesus. I pray that the joy that will come 24/7 to each and every one; the everlasting joy, the contagious joy, the epidemic of joy in the name of Jesus. I declare this joy to all the audiences wherever, by thousands, wherever they are, joy and freedom and everlasting joy in Jesus’ name.

SID: Jesus’ name. Someone’s chest, there is a tightening going on in your chest. You’re not having a heart attack. That’s a lying symptom. You are free in Jesus’ name.

SURPRISE: And someone also is itching in the left eye. So right now, even that has been caused by sinus. But right now I rebuke and be healed right now in Jesus’ name.

SID: There’s such a peace. Is there anything else that God wants to do right?

SURPRISE: Yeah. I feel like God wants to lift the people into their dreams, because I feel like there is a lot of people out there that have forgotten their dreams.

SID: So to renew the dreams; to have it happen, to come to pass.

SURPRISE: Yes.

SID: Pray real quick.

SURPRISE: Yes. Right now, thank you so much. I pray that you will bring back what which is lost in Jesus’ name and let the dreams come back.

SID: And you know what? We did a special tape where you began worshipping. I want our people now to experience the African Christian form of worshipping God. Would you worship God right now. Lift your holy hands up. Lift your holy hands up and join us. Begin to worship God.

Oh yes, yes, oh, right now. I feel like it’s almost like it’s a spikenard oil been pouring out, a spikenard oil, a spikenard oil. Song of Solomon, Chapter 1 Verse 12. Yes, the King is at the table right now. [singing] O Jesus, you are faithful, O Lord. You are faithful, O Lord. Every day, every hour, you are faithful, O Lord. [speaking] I pray this faithfulness. Let the listeners, O, Jesus, thank you. You are so faithful, the loving and most holy. Thank you in Jesus’ name.

Ron: That’s right.

Sid: And tell me a bit about what goes on in a worship service at your church; first of all about how many come to a Sunday morning service?

Ron: We average over 3,000.

Sid: Three thousand?

Ron: Yes sir and in a town of 160,000 like Chattanooga this has become a large, a large church and we’re grateful for that; and we give God glory.

Sid: But I understand that as you’ve been teaching on how the angels worship with us you’ve been hearing some amazing things at your worship service; what’s going on?

Ron: Well, we have had, you know as we go through, when we have worship we begin, we do all of our announcements and family time and then we start and we don’t allow worship to be interrupted after we get through with that.  And we’ll to, you know we start with high praise with the shofar blowing horns, trumpets and our band and then loud, we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.  We believe we’re David’s Tabernacle, you know David planted that Tabernacle thirty-three years on Mt. Zion.  And we believe that we’re connected as David’s Tabernacle but we are being, we’re being restored just like Israel has been restored to their land and God’s restored the Tabernacle of David in the church too.  And we are part of that what you call one new man, we believe that with all of our heart.  And then worship will move from the choruses that we know and the songs that we know, many times it will move into a singing in the Holy Ghost, some people will be, you can hear them; it’s not disturbing, it’s not loud but it’s like…

Sid: You know when I first got saved in the early ‘70s I would go to Charismatic prayer meetings and the thing that overwhelmed me was the majesty of – it sounded almost like a choir accept I knew no one even knew each other but that we were seeing in the spirit and the melodies we’re just, you couldn’t orchestrate melodies that were are beautiful.

Ron: The rhythms of it I believe are the rhythms of God and the rhythms of creation, even the theists, the quadem-theists say that everything is made out of strings that are playing music and if we could hear the stars, the galaxies.  And I believe that God lets us tapped in and of course tongues are tongues of angels as well so, I believe as we speak in tongues were doing, that’s angel talk.  And Hebrews 12 says “Speaking of worship, you’re not come to Mount Sinai you’re come to Mount Zion;” that’s the church’s connection to Israel by the way too. “The city of the living God the heavenly Jerusalem” his is the church that is gathering; “to an innumerable company of angels, to God who is the judge of all, the spirit of just men; made perfect.”  I believe even those that have gone on before, they can’t see everything going on, but I believe that they catch a glimpse of worship.

Sid: So what’s going on when this majestic worship occurs, you’re hearing something beyond your congregation, what are you hearing?

Ron: We call it, I guess Richard Riss’s book on revival 1948, they called it the heavenly choir and I think that is what we’re hearing and beginning to hear more of.  And you know we have been smart enough to let’s just capture all that on tape, but we’re now trying to do that, we don’t want to…

Sid: So you’re healing an angelic choir on top of you singing in unknown tongues.

Ron: Right.

Sid: But you’re hearing something beyond your congregation.

Ron: Yes, we are, we’re hearing sounds and many people are hearing it.   I think from a novelist comes into a service it takes them back a little bit, but it’s not – it’s sweet it’s not a – it’s not the loud sound; it’s that rhythm.  I don’t know how to express it it’s that you talk about; that flow and wave of tone after tone meeting each other; not only from the people, but you’re hearing other tones and sounds.  And one time, I thought somebody had turned our baptism on because I could hear something that sounded like water and I asked the people, “How many of you heard that?”  And hundreds of people said that they could hear it; and so we’ve had that goes on here and it’s captured here, you know by what God’s doing.  And see I believe the angels are here, but we just don’t acknowledge the fact that heaven is kissing earth and that the dimensional boundaries are breeched and God moves in from the Heaven of heavens from the Heavenlies, as that dimension moves into earth.  And by the way, even the physicists’ believe where dimensions cross the supernatural is possible and that everything that has been done for a million of what we call years in that dimension if we have a dimensional interruption it becomes possible in a millisecond here on earth.  So I believe that angels attend miracles, I believe angels attend what’s going on, they minister, they serve, they hear to take that which wears us out off of us.  It doesn’t mean we should work hard, but they’re here to make that thing flow in ministry and power and strength.

Sid: You have actually been strengthened by an angel; describe that to me.

Ron: Yeah, we shared with you earlier when we were talking privately that angel took me down to the my study from that house in April 18 of this year and when I went down there I stayed there after he left, I stayed, I guess he left I couldn’t see him anymore, he may have still been there but he passed back into that other realm.  I stayed there almost stunned, that the only way I could tell it stunned but when I got through I began to operate in that stream in my spirit and I felt that strength in my spirit but also in my flesh because having been up all night, I wasn’t tired.  And I think maybe I got a little bit of what Elijah experienced when the angels met him under the Juniper tree and what Jesus said in the garden, he said, “An angel appeared and strengthened him.”

Sid: But you know because of the times we’re living in the last of the last days every believer has to experience this type of angelic activity and as you put it, “Hast to learn to partner with the angels.”

Ron: That’s right.

Sid: But most believers’s go their whole life and they’re not even aware of the angels; for instance, “Have you seen the angel assigned to you to help you?”

Ron:  “Yes, I have and this happened even before I was baptized in the Holy Ghost and it’s something I never told except to my wife because I was afraid being an orthodox Southern Baptist that I would be, people would think that I was crazy.”  But I had gone, it really was 1978 when it happened and I was on my way, I went up to preach in North Alabama and it was snowing and I went up on this mountain to preach in this church.  And I really went out of pride because a guy named Dr. Claude Ray was singing and sung with Billy Graham and I wanted to be on the platform with him and a lot of mixed motives there.  I was a young fellow just thirty-two years old and I went up that mountain and the pastor said, “Were going to have to speed up the service.” So I preached and when I finished everybody left and so when I went outside there was snow and ice everywhere and an old farmer said, “Can I help you down the mountain?”  And I said, “No, I’ll make it.”  Well, I did a 3/60 in that car and nearly went off the side of the mountain and I couldn’t move, the car was spinning, I couldn’t get it to move, nobody was there and I said, “God, please help me.”  And the Lord said, “Your angel is here.”  And I said, “Okay angel help me, that’s all I said, and I got the car again, I turned it and it got back on the road.”  It never skidded again and I saw a glow on the fender of the car on the right side and then the glow got beside me in the car and I thought I’m losing it you know.  So I came down the mountain, as I came to the mountain the Interstate 59 on north Alabama, the Highway Patrol had blocked that road off that I was coming down so nobody could go up.  And the guy said, “How in the world did you get off that mountain?”  I said, “Well, God helped me.”  And he said, “Where are you going, you can’t go north.”  I said, “Well, I’m going south to get Gaston and he said, “That will be okay, you’ll be okay between here and there are a couple of lanes open.”  And he looked in the car and he said, he acknowledged that someone was in the car with me and said; “Now you all be careful.”  He saw it.

Sid: He could see your angel and could you see your angel?

Ron: Yes, they look like men to me, they…but they’re big; I mean they’re this sounds, it’s like the incredible hulk but they’re good looking, that’s all I can tell you; they’re just… and I know they can manifest themselves anyway they want to.  Now I don’t believe that, see the angel’s that sinned and I have a little bit about that in this book.  But the angels that sinned left their habitation and some of them inhabitated men and created a race and that’s another program and another story; but the holy angels have been watching you know for a long time, they’ re not going to rebel; they’re not going to take somebody else’s body ever.  But they do they can manifest.

Sid: What do angels watch for?  I have read about angels are watchers.  What are they watching?

Ron: Well, they watch to see that the earth is at rest, and that’s what the Bible says and they report to God if things are not at rest if they’re around God’s people if things are disturbed around God’s people they report that to God.  And I believe that angels are very close.  See, I don’t believe heaven is far off, I believe it’s a different dimension and that’s another subject as well.  I believe that that dimensionally angels are as close to us as you could possibly be.  And they like Jacob, when they was the open heaven in 28 of Genesis, and he saw the angels ascending and descending, I tell people the angel’s weren’t doing heavenly aerobics they were getting orders from God to help us and getting reports back from them on what’s going on.  There are angels that are watchers that are here to watch over.  I’m not, I see things in the world are difficult, but I’m not worried because I know God has his emissaries over every city.

Sid: Alright Ron, our time is slipping away again.

Joan: And that’s exactly why they have been, all these traumas are coming to keep you from doing what God’s called you to do.  Regarding trauma there’s a lot that God has really showed me in the area of trauma, and where this is concerned there’s oh, I have dozens of dozens of stories to tell you in regards to the healings that have happen as a result of trauma; I should say getting rid of trauma.  There is many times, I’m going to ask the radio audience, “How many of you have prayed for your own healing, but you haven’t been healed?”  And the thing is that in just a few minutes here we’re going to pray for trauma to leave your body and many healings in particular many of the sicknesses that are on your body are going to leave just when the trauma leaves.

Sid: Now, you realize Joan and I know you do, that if you were to ask for people to be honest and to say in audience of a 1,000 people and they’re all believers that question; most of them would raise their hand; they’re dealing with one thing or another in their life even though they believe in healing.

Joan: Right.  Sometimes I use to pray for people that have trauma to come down front, I don’t do that anymore because it’s everybody and God has to; He heals everybody in the congregation as I pray and that’s what is going happen to those that are listening today.  Is that they are going to be completely set free of trauma.  And I was recently at a church and the pastor’s best friend had hurt his back eighteen years ago and has been excruciating pain.  This particular church very very strong in the area of healing and the supernatural, I mean it is absolutely incredible; it’s awesome what God does through them, but he hasn’t been healed; he hasn’t been healed and they were hoping maybe I would pray for him and pray for his back to get healed.  And it turned out that he fell several stories from a building, well that’s obviously not fun, if it’s not fun it’s probably traumatic, okay.  So what I did was I prayed, I put my hands on his heart and I said, “Father right now in the name of Jesus I curse the spirit of trauma and fear that came in with it and I command it to be gone in Jesus name.  That you Jesus, that’s all I prayed.  I never prayed for his back, and I said, “Now test your back.”  It was completely, completely healed; every bit of trauma that had been stored up for eighteen years was completely gone.  And I saw him for several days after that he had to, he would sleep in a recliner because he couldn’t sleep in bed.  And his wife says, “We can sleep together again.”  you know, because there was no pain and he could sleep in the bed.  And so God not only healed his back, he healed his heart and restored the marriage where they could and he could actually be able to sleep at night with no pain.  And you know there are just dozens of dozens of stories like that.  I had another guy come in to a service and he attended one of my, “The Full Healing Encounter” that I do over a period of a weekend and just train and equip people.  He came in I’m going to say his name is George and he came into the service and he came in schizophrenic and I didn’t know that and went through Friday night an all day Saturday, prayed for the anointing of God to hit him on Saturday.  Somebody ministered, one of my team members ministered to him for a few minutes and then the following morning on Sunday morning, I laid hands on him and I heard by then that he was schizophrenic, didn’t really know why you know, didn’t really know any of the specifics and so I pray and I said, “Father, in the name of Jesus I curse this spirit of trauma, fear, schizophrenia and a couple of other things, abandonment, a few other things that God had put in my spirit.  Then I said, “Father in the name of Jesus I command every bit of that to go in Jesus Name.”  And I said, “Thank you Jesus, praise God and gave him a big hug and I mean, he healed me so tight I thought I was going to have to have help getting out of his arms.  But it turns out that he never been hugged by a mother figure in his entire life and he looked at me kind of like, a motherly love figure even though he was just a few years younger than me.  And so I was talking to the Pastor after the service, I said, “Obviously something you know, traumatic happened to him, I didn’t know what it was, and the Pastor says at two years old, his mother doused herself with gasoline in front of him and lit herself and burned herself to death right in front of him.  And I mean, oh gosh, I mean praise God, you can’t even relate to that kind of trauma.  But then the father got custody of him and what his father did was much worse than what his mother did, and it was absolutely horrific and I didn’t go into much detail later at all.  But I just wanted him free and he got totally set free, well he’s required by law to stay in this home because he can’t live out on his own and so he went back to the home you know every night and then on Monday and then come Monday they can’t even trust you with toe nail clippers.  So they laid another guy down and he was getting ready to cut his toe nails and he noticed that his leg was short.  And He said, may I pray for your leg and do you have a back problem and he toes, “My back hurts so bad.”  This is the other guy in the home.  And so George grew his leg out and he got totally healed, his back problem got healed and everything and then a few minutes later a lady came hobbling by and she had just sprained her ankle and it was a grotesquely purple and swollen.  And he says, “Can I pray for you?”  And you know she got prayer and she got instantly healed and he says, “I knew that when Joan prayed for me that she prayed for the anointing, but I didn’t really think that God could heal through me.”  And he’s not only healed himself completely of any signs of schizophrenia they’re trying to find him a place to live because he doesn’t need to live in the home anymore and  then now he’s praying for everybody and the whole church is going, “If George can do it I can do it too.”

Sid: And that’ the whole thing that you teach in your books, but you’ve got to tell me about the woman that was so traumatized as a child and she went to the hospital, which was put in a straight jacket.

Joan: Every night she would you know, little girl, little boy which ever they’d be inclined to get out of bed, you know at night if they didn’t have the bars up and different things.  Well, they wanted to restrict her activity at night and so, to keep her in the bed, and she is probably about forty five years old and every night they would strap her in to a straight jacket and her arms were crossed across her chest because that’s what happens when you’re in a straight jacket.  And then they’d tie it in the back.  And she told me about that and in telling me she was weeping and crying and weeping and just weeping and crying and borderline wailing she was so just so upset.  And so I said, what I want you to do is cross your arms across your chest just like they did in a straight jacket.  And she just very gingerly crossed her heart with her arms and just lost it; absolutely lost it because she went right back to night after night after night being strapped into her bed with a straight jacket.  And I said, “Just give me a minute and you’ll be completely free and I’m going to take my arms and tie them around you like the strings of the straight jacket.”  And I put my arms around her, and held her very tight where she couldn’t move at all, and I said, “Father in the Name of Jesus, I curse the spirit of trauma and fear and I command it to be gone in Jesus Name.”  When I said, “Gone,” I released my arms and at that point when I let go of holding her she got slain in the Spirit, a couple minutes later she got up.  She looked totally different and I looked at her and I her look at the congregation and I said, “Cross your arms.”  She crossed her arms, and she said, “It’s gone, it’s gone.  It’s gone all fear, all trauma, all of the horrific things that happened to her as a child, all that fear and that trauma that has gripped her for forty years, is gone!

Sid: Joan this is happening to so many people as they read your books and just follow the simplistic approach you have and I must add, it is a very simplistic approach.  Now I had promised our Mishpochah we would have a special prayer for people to be set free from traumas and fear of all kind, but there is not enough time on today’s broadcast so I would like to perhaps pray that on tomorrow’s broadcast.  But tell me a little bit, I mean we’ve been talking about your newest book “Power to Heal”  they just can’t keep it in stock, but I’ll tell you, I love your previous book, called “Healing the Whole Man Handbook.”  What results are people getting when they pray the way you tell them to pray and you list every disease possible and how to pray?”

Joan: I believe in the kiss method, you know keep it simple saints and the simpler that we can get it the easier it’s going to be to get healed.  O’evay, we’re out of time…

My guest is Co Producer of It’s Supernatural Television and Messianic Radio, Janie DuVall who is also a Jewish Believer in Jesus and we’re kind of reminiscing about my life’s story.  And on yesterday’s broadcast you found out that I was raised in a Traditional Jewish family, I graduated college and I got married, I had an early mid-life crisis, I left my wife and daughter and job because I wanted to be a millionaire before I was thirty and I was age twenty-nine and so I got involved in a New Age meditation course.  In which Janie, I invited, they call it a counselor, the Bible calls it a familiar spirit.

Janie: Today they’re calling them, the spirit guides.

Sid: Right, I invited this inside of myself and it started telling me things I had no way of knowing.  So in my logical mind, I was excited over this because I figured now I could use this information.  I was a Stockbroker.

Janie: To be a millionaire, oh inside information.

Sid: Right, and be a millionaire before thirty and I would be happy just like Hollywood says you are suppose to be.  And so but these powers started increasing and I didn’t even realize what was going on.  I would just think of something and it would begin to happen; like for instance, I said to myself, “I’d like to be in business for myself.”  And a few minutes later a businessman that I barely knew came into my office and he said, “Sid, if you ever want to go into business for yourself, I’ll give you a free office, free secretary, free telephone, because we have extra space.”  And I thought wow, this power is really amazing.

Janie: You know it’s interesting, to me because the power was appearing good for awhile.

Sid: Right, but what also was going on and I didn’t know it at the time, is this businessman was a born again Christian; and God spoke to him and told him to offer me this free office.  And it was weird Janie.

Janie: And what did you think of him?

Sid: Well, I couldn’t understand how he could do business, he had a partner that had just returned from Israel, this partner worked in Israel on a Kuputz for a year because he loved the Jewish people and he made nothing.  The guy that offered me the position had a Bible on his desk and he’s reading this Bible and he’s spending so much time in Bible studies and he’s inviting me into these Bible studies.  I like the guy.

Janie: Did you go to the Bible studies?

Sid: I tore it apart; at least I thought I tore it apart.

Janie: No really, what type of things would you say?  I mean we’re you cynical, what were you saying about it?

Sid: Do you really want to know?

Janie: Yeah, I really do!

Sid: It was, I was absolutely so dumb, I remember saying, “Well, listen my religion is I’m a tree worshiper and I’m the only non-hypocrite in this room because as long as I don’t hurt a tree and I’ve never hurt a tree to my knowledge then I’m okay.”  And I mean, I literally would say crazy things.  I don’t know how they put up with me,  but one day, I reached – I hit their buttons and one of the partners walked up to me and he said, “Sid do know that in your own Jewish Bible God condemns your involvement in the occult, in the New Age?”  And I said, “No, show me.”  So they opened the Bible up to book of Deuteronomy and they read Deuteronomy 18 for me and this is what it says, I have it open to the Bible, “You shall, (it’s Deuteronomy 18 starting at verse 9,) You shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations; there shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire,”  Well, today that’s called abortion, back then they use to sacrifice children “Or one who practices witchcraft or soothsayer, or one who interprets omens or a sorcerer or one who condors spells or a medium or a spiritist or one who calls up the dead.”

Janie: The fortune telling.

Sid: The séances and spirit guides and all of those things.  And then it goes on to say, “For all who do these things are an abomination.”  And to be candid with you, even though I came from a good Orthodox Jewish background I wasn’t so sure that the Bible was from God.

Janie: Right, so then why would that even bother you?

Sid: I don’t know, but it did.  Just in case.

Janie: Just in case you’re wrong.

Sid: I mean I’ve messed up with my wife, I’ve messed up with my daughter, I’d messed up with my job, I just plain messed up everywhere and now, maybe he’s implying I’ve messed up with God.

Janie: Well, did you continue with the spirit guide after that?

Sid: Oh, yeah, I’d continue with it, but I remember one day, I had the ability like someone goes to a Ouijas board and gets information, I would go to a dictionary and one day, I just felt I should point to words.  I would like ask a question and I’d point to a word and I’d get a specific answer, but I didn’t have question.  And so I pointed to one word after another and I kept writing down the words and it was a message and it said, “The message was “Refrain from this sinful book.”  And that really scared me; and then I remember.

Janie: Wait, wait; reframe from the sinful book?

Sid: The dictionary, in other words I was using this book.  God’s a jealous God, but I didn’t understand and now I’m beginning to get a little afraid, maybe I am getting in trouble with God.  So I went to a bookstore, a big secular bookstore and the biggest section of books is the New Age occult books, so I grabbed one of these books off the shelf.  I couldn’t believe the title.  The title must have been written for me, it was called “The Jew, the Bible and the Supernatural.” And this book had a wrinkle in it that none of my Christian friends had told me.

Janie: What was in it that was bothering you?

Sid: Well, what it said was, “It’s an abomination for anyone to be involved in the New Age,” but Jewish people are under a Covenant with God and whether we know it or not God expects more from us.  “Then the book proceeds to list famous Jewish people one after another that had lost their life for doing the same things that I was doing, but there was one Jewish man in particular, he was my hero at the time.”  Do you remember a rock group called the Beatles?

Janie: Right.

Sid: Well, they had a business manager by the name of Brian Epstein.

Janie: That’s right.  That’s right, I remember him.

Sid: The Jewish business manager. Now all the Beatles and their Jewish business manager went to the Himalayas and they had gurus, but at that time…

Janie: But what happened to him though?

Sid: At that time, only one of them died, the Jew, Brian Epstein,

Janie: Awe!

Sid: He was my hero. He had everything that I thought was important in life.

Janie: And he got into the New Age.

Sid: Yeah, and he died; and then it lists one after another that got into the New Age and died and now I’m really getting scared.  And about that time I broke into something called astral projection; and that’s where your spirit leaves your body.

Janie: You had actually see your spirit leave your body?

Sid: I actually saw it like in a vision, it didn’t really happen, but I told a lady next to me I just saw this, she said, “Oh, you had a breakthrough in this astral projection, but let me warn you once you break through in this area every time you go to sleep your spirit leaves your body.

Janie: That’s a scary thought.

Sid: Did you ever see Rod Serling’s TV show the Twilight Zone,

Janie: Twilight Zone, I hate to say it, yes, scary.

Sid: Okay, he never had a script like I imagine, like I pictured myself leaving my body and someone finding me like that and I’m not even going to go there but it was so scary.

Janie: Oh!

Sid: I’m not even going to go there.

Janie: Yeah, really!

Sid: It was so scary.  Janie, I was afraid to go to sleep at night, I was afraid.  The phone would right and I would shake.  I mean I had…

Janie: And you weren’t a fearful type person.

Sid: No, I was a positive thinker, I could do anything, but I literally had a spirit of fear in me.  Remember I told you as a young boy the question popped in my head, what happens when you die?

Janie: Right, when you were six.

Sid: The worst thing I could think of was to die, well at this point the worst thing I could think of was to live.  Life was too hard and I could picture how Jewish people that don’t know God like I was and you reach your point, you have no one to lean on and Christians aren’t sharing Jesus with Jewish people.  I mean, I looked in every arena for help.

Janie: Right and you thought you finally had this answer and now you’re finding out that this is answer that was going to make you the millionaire, make you happy, this answer is not going to make you happy.

Sid: And who could I go to at that time?  I mean I could go to my parents who would give their life for me, but I could say, “Mom, Dad my spirit’s leaving my body I need help.”  Well, the best they could do is refer me to a physiatrist; then I go a physiatrist, I didn’t but I could picture going to a physiatrist and saying doctor, “I have a spirit guide inside of me and I think its evil and Deuteronomy.”  I couldn’t go to a physiatrist, I couldn’t  go to my parents, I couldn’t go to my Rabbi.

Janie: You were trapped.

Sid: Most ministers wouldn’t have known how to help me, but I’m Jewish so I wouldn’t have gone to a minister.  I didn’t know what to do, and so some friends gave me a little booklet called, “Four spiritual laws and it talks about there is sins separating you from God, and if you confess your sins and believe that Jesus died for you and it made no sense to me.  But you know my mind is so confused at this point and so I read this prayer.

Janie: Did you feel anything?

Sid: It’s the prayer of salvation, I felt nothing, absolutely nothing and I felt all sorts of things in the New Age, so I just figured well, I guess it didn’t work.  And, but you know what Janie, God heard that prayer.  And I gave God permission to move in my life.

Janie: You know I love that, because even when you don’t feel anything there is still a miracle there.  And here you prayed this prayer with feeling nothing, and something happened!

Sid: So, what I figured is nothing happened and I was afraid to tell anyone that nothing happened, so I just ignored it and I remember the worst night of my life.  Well were out of time.  I’ll pick up here on tomorrow’s broadcast.

Mark: I am and I tell my spirit to work on different things, if I got a problem that I’m in need of solving I ask for my heart to work on that and for God to give revelation.  If I’m struggling to give counsel I ask for that, because I know my heart through dreams will work on that all night long and give me an answer to the question that I posed to it before I go to sleep at night.

Sid: Can you give me an example of someone that perhaps had a supernatural warning from God about something awful that would happen in their life; I mean a real life experience?

Mark: I can, it’s a lady that I talk to she’s actually part of our School and she’s in the California prison system currently serving a life sentence.  She had grown up in California and her family moved her away when she was a young girl and in her teen years she wanted to go back to California and she received a dream at night and she shared this with me over the phone, she received the dream at night where the Lord clearly showed her if she went back to California she would go to prison.  And she ignored that dream and she went back to California, she got involved in drugs.  Her roommate was in drugs with her she actually killing or purposely killing her roommate alright when she was on drugs, she was tried for it and she is now spending doing a life prison sentence because she did not honor the counsel and the warning that God had given to her through a dream.

Sid: You know, God is such a good God that I believe he is speaking to us so clearly in dreams if we only understood the language.  Speaking of understanding the language you had just touch a little bit about you approach symbolism different than just about anyone that I know.  To me the way you approach it is easier and makes more sense than the way that most people do because each of us has different meanings to different symbols so therefore God can’t use the same symbol for everyone and say this is what it means as many people take that approach.  Let’s take you, your about ready to go to sleep at night, you told me you have a pad next to your bed on a little table with a pencil ready to right down whatever God shows you; give me an example, and by the way that’s an act of faith in itself, that means you’re expecting to use it being pragmatic as I am I wouldn’t want to put that there if I wasn’t going to use it.  Alright, what would you pray before you go to bed and take me kind of step by step of what occurs?

Mark: Whenever I go to sleep I’m going to lay there and I’m going to say, “Lord, will you give me a dream tonight?”   A simple one line prayer, but, “Lord would you give me a dream tonight?”

Sid: I’m reminded of the scripture that “You have not because you ask not because you ask not.”  But what happens if someone says Lord, would you give me a dream tonight and they wake up the next morning and they did not have a dream and maybe this goes on for a couple of nights?  Most people would give up.

Mark: Well, okay if your heart wakes you up within five minutes of the dream ending you will recall the dreams.  So you need to let your heart know that you want it to wake you up and you do that by saying, “I take dreams seriously, I believe they’re a message from God and I want God to speak to me through the dream.  That’s a signal to your heart saying wake me up.  When you put your paper next to your bed, that’s your signal to your heart saying, “Wake me up.”  When your heart does wake you up you then immediately record your dream, you don’t say I’ll get it in the morning because you’ll forget it.  You’ll immediately record it, that’s a signal to your heart saying I’m taking you seriously.

Sid: Now, I’m a little concerned about what you just said, Mark because I don’t want to be so alert that I’m woken up right after I have the dream, let’s suppose I have it not just as I wake up, but in the middle of the night, I’m afraid that’ll wake me up and get my mind active again.  What do you think about that?

Mark: Well, you’re going to have your dream during the light sleep period anyway so you’re going to be almost awake anyway you won’t be totally groggy when you wake up.  And if you wake up and you just take four or five minutes and you jot down the essence or the symbols and basic things of the dream you can drift right back off to sleep again and you can ask God to put you back to sleep.  I mean you can ask for these kinds of things, He’ll honor those things and He’ll do it, alright.

Sid: Okay, so alright you’ve asked, you’ve received, you write down your dream on a piece of paper then what?

Mark: And then when I’m up in the morning and ready to interpret the dream I’m going to ask okay, what does that symbol mean and what does this symbol mean and what does this symbol mean to me and I’m going to a tune to flow once I ask the question, I’m going to go back and picture the dream, ask the question, “What’s the key action, what’s the key motion, what are the key symbols.  I’m going to a tune to flow because I know that God’s voice sounds like flowing thoughts and flowing pictures out of my inner most being shall flow rivers of living water.

Sid:  The key that you have is that you expect the Holy Spirit to do the interpretation rather than a book of formulas.

Mark: Exactly, that’s exactly right and the Holy Spirit will do the interpretation you know and He does it through the voice of God which comes to you through flowing thoughts and flowing pictures.

Sid: All right give me, if you will because I’m kind of like you, I want things in a logical order; give me some keys to hearing God’s interpretation of my dream.

Mark: Alright, well you want to quiet yourself down, you’re going to picture the dream; you’re going to ask the question, “What does this symbol mean; you are going to attune to flowing thoughts and then you’re going to write down the flow that comes back to you trusting that’s it’s the Holy Spirit in your heart communicating that to you.  And of course once you have written out you’re interpretation you can bounce it off your spouse and your spiritual friends to make sure that they feel good that you’ve got the right interpretation.  But those are the basic steps that I would take in interpreting the dream.  And I would ask like, “What’s the key, what’s the key action of the dream?  What’s the emotion of the dream?”  If the key action is I’m falling then, I’ll say where in my life, yesterday was I falling, because the dream came out of yesterday, of what I was wrestling with.  And I may say, “I know where I was falling.”  I believe God was going to do this thing in my life and He didn’t do it and my faith was shook and I felt like I was shattered and I was falling into unbelief and doubt.”  Alright the dream showed that I was flying like a bird, I’d say okay, yesterday where was I flying; and I said I know where, man I was just so free in the Spirit; the bonds of sin were broken; I was soaring in the Spirit it was an awesome day.  So you ask where in my life am I experiencing that symbol right now?  And then you write down what you receive back from the Lord.  So you’re the key, the emotion of the dream, you want the key emotion and you want also the key action of the dream.  You want those two written down.

Sid: Does it matter at all if the dreams are in black and white or Technicolor?

Mark: I don’t believe it matter at all, you know I’ve heard people suggest that it does but when I go back to the Bible there is no teaching on it either way alright, so the Bible is not going to need to clarify it.  When I look at my own experience when I began to work with dreams I was a left brainer so my stuff was pretty black and white.  And now I have moved over to the right side and so my dreams are more full color; so I just think it’s the way that we’re wired.

Sid: What if it’s a dream that you’re in it as opposed to a dream that you’re an observer; does that make a difference?

Mark: I think that that does tend to indicate one thing verses another.  When Pharaoh was watching seven skinny cows and watching seven fat cows, he was just an observer of the action; it wasn’t it wasn’t really about stuff taking place in his heart, it was about the next fourteen years of his kingdom.  So I think when we’re observers of the action of the dream that’s an indication that it’s about something outside of my heart.  Something out there in real life that maybe is going to happen, where if I’m a participant in the action then it’s about struggle going on inside of my heart that I need to resolve and wrestle with.

Sid: Now, you’ve explained that the principal of dreams showed the screams of an unhealed heart, what do you mean by that?

Mark: Well, you know in my, you know I had a fifteen year dream you know and it didn’t go away and it was a scream of an unhealed heart saying look, you have fear down here.  And you need to heal this fear and I’m going to come and show you that fear every single night in a dream until you come and apply some inner healing prayer, some deliverance prayer, whatever it takes and once you get it resolved then the scream is going to go away and you will not have that dream any more from that point on.

Sid: Mark, tell me one dream in your life that really made a difference.

Mark: Well, how about if I give you a dream from my wife’s life, from Patti’s.  She went to bed mad this night and she said, she doesn’t remember why she was mad she just knew that she had a right to be angry and she was.  And so in the dream she opens up the door to her house and there is a bull like a cartoon character bull standing outside on his hind feet; takes his front feet and knocks her glasses off her face and steps on them and crushes them.  So she wakes up and she asked the question, well what emotion does a bull represent to me?  And she said, “Well, I would usually put the word, angry with the bull, an angry bull.”  So the bull is talking about anger, which she went to bed angry.  And what’s the main action of the dream, the main action is he knocks the glasses off her face and crushes them.  So what does that action symbolize?  Well, it’s going to destroy your ability to see clearly and so the interpretation is when I open the door to anger in my life, I lose my ability to see things clearly.  And that’s wonderful counsel saying you may have a right to be angry, but you don’t want to be angry because it’s going to devastate and wreck your life.

Sid: So you can be angry and the Bible says, sin not, but the more that you’re angry you just distort your vision; and who wants to have distorted vision.
