AUDIENCE (LAUGHTER)
RODNEY: He said “out of your belly.” Out of your innermost being shall flow RIVERS, RIVERS of living water. (silence) It’s a river of life. It’s a river of joy. It’s a river of peace. It’s a river of His goodness, His grace, His mercy, His healing. Amen. In His presence is fullness of joy. At His right hand be pleasures forevermore. So the devil is so afraid of these truths because he wants to keep God’s people away from the water, the living water. He wants to keep them bound up by religion and tradition. You know, they’re always jumping through some hoop of some sort placed there by man but Jesus came to remove all the hoops out of the way. Hallelujah! Praise God!
AUDIENCE Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus! (CLAPPING)
RODNEY: And the greatest day of your life is when you get saved. The next greatest day is when you find out why you’re saved…
AUDIENCE Yeah! (LAUGHTER)
RODNEY: …and what He wants to do through you. Because He wants to come and manifest Himself to you so that He can manifest Himself in you so that ultimately He can manifest himself through You. The Apostle Paul said “I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you.” You can’t give what you don’t have. And Christianity has got nothing to do with some head knowledge passed on by some cone-head theologian.
AUDIENCE (LAUGHTER)
RODNEY: Christianity is a heart transformation by the power of the blood of Jesus resulting in the power of the Spirit of God coming in the life of the individual and then there’s no telling what God’s going to do. Now in John 3:34 he gave Him the Spirit without measure inferring that we don’t have it without measure, I think. Some ministries feel they’ve got everything but we don’t. The Lord never gave His ministry to one person. He knew better. He gave his ministry to the body. And of course you can read about that in Ephesians 4 and verse 7: “But unto every one is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ and He gave some apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints so the saints can do the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ” and you can read that chapter four. Now not everybody is called into the “five-fold ministry” but that doesn’t make you any less a child of God than anybody else. It just means people have certain gifts and callings where He calls them and sets them apart but people are called to do different things. Amen! When people have a revelation that we weren’t actually called to sit in church 24 hours a day. We’re called to make a difference on the planet. The Upper Room is never a place that you camp out at. The Upper Room is not a hotel you check in and never check out. And the proof that you were in the Upper Room is not what happens just in the Upper Room but what happens when you get out!
